As Canadians, we know we are blessed. We enjoy a safe, beautiful country that is the envy of the world. In fact, we are the best of what the world has to offer and the contributions of our many ethnic and cultural groups have made for a richer Canadian experience.

Multilinx celebrates the multicultural spirit that has made us strong. But it strives to ensure that the contributions and voices of various ethno/cultural groups are not lost in the mainstream shuffle but understood and appreciated at large, allowing them to benefit from the Canadian experience that they have contributed to.

But to be heard and included in the greater Canadian discourse, ethno-cultural groups cannot stand apart. They need to engage and be engaged. Walls need to be broken down and bridges built between communities. Multilinx strives to encourage communication and policies that help to break down systemic barriers that many new and ethno-cultural groups face. This includes encouraging participation in broader political and societal discourse.

To that end, Multilinx organizes and participates in events that help do just that at the grassroots level including community celebrations, cultural events, youth, business, and political forums. Anything that brings people together and gets them involved.

We all benefit when we understand each other better and we all work together for a better Canada.
